Refund Policy

CVAura offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for eligible paid purchases. This policy explains eligibility, exclusions, and how refunds are processed for all CVAura products sold through Paddle.
CVAura is the business and trading name of Shaveen Udayanga, an individual sole proprietor in Sri Lanka.
1. Paddle's Role in Refunds
Paddle is Merchant of Record for CVAura purchases and handles payment processing and refund execution. In line with Paddle requirements:
"Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle and on a case-by-case basis. Paddle will refuse a refund request if evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior is found."
2. How to Request a Refund
You can request a refund by emailing support@cvaura.com or by using Paddle's buyer portal link in your receipt email.
Please include:
- Your CVAura account email address.
- Your Paddle order ID or subscription ID.
- Reason for refund request (brief).
Approved refunds are usually submitted to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Bank and card processing timelines may vary.
3. Product-Specific Eligibility
Eligibility rules below apply in addition to statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
3.1 Pay-per-analysis (USD $2.99)
- Refundable within 7 days of purchase only if no paid analysis has been viewed or downloaded.
- Once a paid analysis is viewed or downloaded, the purchase is non-refundable as digital content has been delivered.
- If duplicate billing or technical delivery failure occurs, we may restore credit and/or approve a refund at Paddle's discretion.
3.2 Pro Monthly (USD $9, auto-renewing)
- Full refund available within 30 days of initial purchase or renewal.
- If canceled mid-month within the eligible period, refunds may be prorated for unused time.
- After 30 days from the relevant billing charge, no refund is guaranteed, but cancellation can still stop future renewals.
3.3 Pro Yearly (USD $79, auto-renewing)
- Full refund available within 30 days of initial yearly purchase or yearly renewal.
- After day 30 and within the same paid year, refund requests are assessed on a prorated basis using: refund amount = (79 / 12) x full months remaining.
- Refunds approved after day 30 are subject to a 15% processing fee.
3.4 Free Analysis
The free analysis is not a paid product and is therefore non-refundable.
4. Subscription Cancellation and Auto-Renewal
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account billing area or Paddle buyer portal. Cancellation prevents future charges and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
5. EU/EEA/UK Withdrawal Rights
Consumers in the EU/EEA/UK generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for digital purchases. However, if during checkout you requested immediate access and started using or benefiting from the digital product (for example, generated or accessed an analysis), withdrawal rights may be reduced or no longer available to the extent permitted by applicable law.
6. Chargebacks and Abuse
Please contact support before filing a chargeback. We encourage direct resolution first because it is usually faster and more accurate. CVAura and Paddle may contest chargebacks where records show product delivery or misuse of payment protections.
