Refund Policy

Effective July 15, 2026

The short version

If something you paid for did not work as described, request a refund within 14 days and we will review it in good faith. Payments are processed by 2Checkout, and refunds are issued through 2Checkout back to your original payment method.

1. What you can buy

CVAura sells a one-time full report unlock ($2.99) for a single saved ATS analysis, and a Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) covering unlimited full reports, cover letter generation, and resume tailoring for the length of the billing period.

2. One-time report unlock

You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if the report failed to generate, the content was clearly wrong (for example, scored against the wrong resume or job description due to a bug on our side), or you were charged in error. Because the report is generated and delivered instantly, we ask that refund requests describe what went wrong so we can also fix the underlying issue.

3. Pro subscription

You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time from your dashboard; cancelling stops the next renewal, and your Pro access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period.

If you are within 14 days of a charge (a new subscription or a renewal) and you did not get meaningful use of Pro, for example the service was unavailable, a core feature was broken, or you were charged after cancelling, request a refund and we will review it. Refund requests outside this window, or for a subscription you used throughout the period, are handled case by case rather than guaranteed.

4. How to request a refund

Email support@cvaura.com with the email address you paid with and the date of the charge. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued by 2Checkout back to your original payment method, and typically appear within 5-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or charged after successfully cancelling, this is always refunded in full regardless of the 14-day window above.
