Terms of Service

1. What CVAura is

CVAura (CVAura) is a resume tool: a free ATS (applicant tracking system) compatibility checker, plus paid features (a full keyword report, a cover letter generator, and resume tailoring) available as a one-time unlock or a Pro subscription. By using cvaura.com (the "Service"), you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You do not need an account to get a free ATS score. An account (email and password, or Google sign-in) is required to save your results, buy a one-time report unlock, or subscribe to Pro. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. What you can buy

• Full report unlock ($2.99, one-time): unlocks the complete keyword report for a single saved analysis.
• Pro subscription (monthly or yearly): unlimited full reports, saved history, cover letter generation, and resume tailoring, for as long as the subscription is active.

Current prices are shown on the pricing page in your local currency and may change; changes do not affect a period you have already paid for.

4. Billing and 2Checkout

Payments are processed by 2Checkout (Verifone). 2Checkout handles your payment details, calculates and remits applicable tax (including VAT/sales tax), and appears on your card or bank statement as the merchant. CVAura never sees or stores your full card number.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account dashboard; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period (see our Refund Policy).

5. Acceptable use

Use the Service for your own job-search purposes. Do not: upload resumes or job descriptions you do not have the right to submit; attempt to break, scrape, or overload the Service; resell or redistribute the analysis, cover letters, or tailored content as a competing product; or use the Service to generate content containing false claims about a third party.

6. AI-generated content

Scores, keyword matches, suggestions, cover letters, and tailored rewrites are generated by an AI model based on the resume and job description you provide. They are guidance, not a guarantee of interview or hiring outcomes, and not legal, career, or financial advice. Review every generated document before sending it: you are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit to an employer.

7. Your content and privacy

You keep ownership of the resume, job descriptions, and other content you submit. How we handle that content, including that resume files are parsed in memory and never stored, is described in full in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any AI-generated score, letter, or rewrite will produce a specific job outcome. To the extent permitted by law, CVAura's total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
